摘要：

近期英国医学会(BMA)的一份报告指出,医学专业人士和社会工作者认为姑息治疗(或称缓和医疗,palliative care)工作还存在一些不足.这份报告对目前肿瘤患者的姑息治疗工作给予了肯定,但同时也指出在非肿瘤患者的姑息治疗方面尚存不足.因而报告呼吁英国政府加强对姑息治疗,尤其是对非肿瘤患者的姑息治疗予以重视.
